Two years on from when I made this up I at last have my miniature pink lily in flower, and love the reflection of the Maple in the water, there are a couple of spaces to fill in the narrow planting strip where a couple of plants failed. How dare they.lol

Brian-I have some little beauties that somehow seem to have your name on them, which would be ideal. All still probably a bit too small to risk the journey at the moment. In particular,Physoplexis comosa, still tiny but looking very healthy and slug free.
Didn't you have that nice Erigeron 'Four Winds' in there?

Phil four Winds is in flower now but always had too big a root system to put into the narrow space.( No I have not killed it)The Geranium Dalmaticum is yours
Its strange you should mention Four Winds I was looking at it before coming on Goy and wondering If cuttings take I suppose with a Daisy flower the obvious is seed .Did you grow it from seed.
As for the Physoplexis yes it would probably like it there the question would be keeping slugs and snails away at the moment there is not much to attract them .

The Erigeron was just a rooted sideshoot. Not sure what you would get from seed.

Booboo
The outside is a disused planter with drainage holes, inside a 50 Litre barrel I cut down.
Was lucky to find two items that fitted together.
there is a blog around June/July 2011

This is so pretty and ingenious Brian! Well done! I have a small water lily in the pond, but it's not doing so well.
