We are in the middle of making a sedum roof to disguise our dust bins, how did you go about it ? we have bought the sedums already, and the structure is in place......it is the next step?

Thanks Meadow the structure is about 54 ins X 22 ins so not very large.......I am going to look up Geotextile...is it the same as rubber pond liner?

Such a good idea and it is really attractive. A good summer will have helped them to thrive I bet.

Meadow, we have done it, we went to our local GC and bought this heavy duty fleece, sounds like the same thing perhaps? we put some plastic down first, then two layers of this fleece, then soil and some grit and then the plants.....it looks alright, time will tell!! going to put a pic on tonight.

We have a country store nearby with some grass on the roof and sometime they put few goats in top to clean it up.
