The others are coming along nicely, Melchisdec.
A much smaller one on the trellis looks to be producing white flowers.
Hope they smell as good as the purple ones do.

I expect they will. Although I have noticed that purple flowers sometimes smell stronger (as with petunias - the dark blues have a wonderful scent).

Yeah, I heard that of a lot of flowers...darker flowers, stronger scent.
I wonder if it's related to insect & animal eyesight?

I read somewhere that bees see the purple end of the spectrum as a very bright attractive colour, so that's probably right. Although they still love yellow flowers, so perhaps that's wrong. And it's still nothing to do with scent, so perhaps that's rubbish!!! (I know very little, really ;-) )

I love sweet peas. I have mixed results with them. They are looking very promising this year.
