Gooseberries Red

We are picking ours, I prefer them to the green.

Glad you like them Anita /Sbee / me to Angela I leave them until they are very ripe and juicy delicious ,I'm not keen on green ones . I have made a green gooseberry jam which goes very well with cold meats for the winter the funny thing is although the gooseberries are green the jam come out a reddish colour !

Now that is interesting, our red ones never make it to the kitchen, we just pick em and eat em!!

I know what you mean I have a dish full I've been eating all day ....

This is a new one for me, a sweet and red Gooseberry!
