First bloom of the year on this plant that was grown from seed that Amy sent me.

That's amazing it grew from a seed! I've only grown them for cuttings. Your plant looks terrific!
My plants looks horrible! They only look terrific in winter when they bloom.

Easy from seed - sown in Autumn indoors they will be in bloom the following summer.

My plants never seem to get enough water in summer. This is why they look so horrible. They love the cooler weather in winter, also.

Oh yes, the winters are extremely harsh here in San Diego, CA. (on the verge of being arctic cold!). LOL! :>)
