Think it is the same Karen, it is much darker as it is developing and then becomes paler as it opens up, very pretty with more buds opened up now.

It is a beautiful rose. Think it will be ok in the new border, this area of ground is part of the garden that Charlie (the gent before us) filled in with compost and sand etc. for his putting green. The soil is lovely and light in the new rose border.
