Eucomis 'Sparkling Burgundy'

Oh now I am very envious Motty, cannot see any flowers on ours.......lucky you.

Its in a pot Dd and only taken out of the Greenhouse during the recent good weather...which has long gone...heavy rain here day and nght...:<(

I had no blooms on mine this year? Very annoying!

I do have eight babies coming along well though that I did from leaf cuttings.

I remember that Meanie.....My leaf cuttings didnt do at all well....:<(

Try again? I have some bean bag filler balls that I'm going to use on the E.bicolor leaf cuttings.

That'll be interesting Meanie.....I think i tried the leaf cuttings too late in the season...end of June, early July is best im told?

I did mine at the same time as you. I think that the trick is to get a good strong leaf as starter material.

Perhaps thats where i failed.....I'll try again next season.....thanks
