Some form of Digitalis, sorry forgot the name, but lovely dusky colour with flowers all around the stem, it was a beauty.

Yes, this looks the same as my parviflora 'Milk Chocolate'

Must get some seed and plant it up, I loved it. :O)

If I get any, I'll send you some. :)

Certainly looks like D.parviflora.
A truly perennial Digitalis that forms a nice clump. Had eight flowering stems this year. Looks especially good with the muted yellow of Salvia glutinosa.

thanks Karen :O)
thank you Meanie, it is good to know it is hardy as I only plant hardy perennials too much hassle to be lifting and removing annuals for me. lol :O)

As with all Digitalis, this really dislikes being lifted. When I moved I bough four with me but only one survived.

That's helpful info Keith. Thank you. I was going to move my pink digits to Glamis, but I don't think I'll bother with that poor rate of success. Not worth the effort. I'll either keep them, or bin them.

If you're gonna bin it you may as well try to move it!

Hmmm....not quite so simple with my tiny Fiat 500 and the journey is 20 miles and all the work to get them transported. I have some plants here now sitting waiting to go there, but that means taking OH car, which is greedy on petrol, and inconvenient for him. I might do it....we'll see! :))
