Lilies

the perfume carries on the air all the way across the garden with lilies, I love them all. :O)

What sort are they, Mel?

I think they are Stargazer, Mouldy.

Sadly, just beginning to get that purple tinge and losing some of the petals. Still, they wouldn't be so special if they were always there, I suppose.

Thank you , Jane. The French window is the only structural alteration we have made to the house, but we are very glad we did - I love throwing them open for the day when the weather's good. Happily, they've been open a lot this year.

Sadly, I'm beginning to see the downside of growing lilies...once one petal drops it looks dreadful. Such a pity!
