Are you still having very warm weather? The warm weather gets them growing very fast and blooming.

Yes, I know what you mean. Most of the U.S. has had well below normal temps for the last couple of weeks. Us San Diegans have been complaining about the cooler than normal weather. The highs inland have only been between: 76 - 84ºF (24 - 29ºC)...this is very unusual for August. We had very hot to extremely hot weather in June and most of July.
I'm not complaining, though...to me, it's been perfect! At least I don't have to run the a/c.
