More info. please Andrew...
Is this trained to grow up, tied to wires ?
I have two... one growing faster than the other...
How old was this PV when the photo was taken ?
Is this one growing in sun or shade ?

TT - this is a self-clinger BUT it must be well fed to hang on. I give it a generous helping of garden compost and some general feed each spring. The plant in the photo is four years old and is growing on a shady east-facing wall. Two years later, it has reached the top of the wall (about nine feet) and I reduce it to about six feet in spring

Thanks for the info. Andrew.
I will give mine some more garden compost.
What do you mean by "general feed" ?

I use concentrated chicken manure as a general feed for the garden in spring and make sure the PV gets a good helping (as well as the garden compost). Any general purpose feed, for example Growmore, would do. If this plant is hungry, it won't "stick"

Thanks for the advice, Andrew...
... very much appreciated :o)
