Clematis jackmanii

I love the colour of this, makes a real statement. Now I'm making notes ;-)

It's taken an eternity to bloom, but maybe the long winter's to blame.

Some are later flowering Mouldy. My Ville de Lyon always flowers late.

My Coreopsis & choccy Cosmos bloomed quicker than Surreylad's, (but he beat me to the finish with his photos, as I got sidetracked). so I assumed my clems would be ahead, too.
What a silly billy I am, eh? ;-)

I agree with Scottish - love this colour.

It's even richer at dusk.
