They don't look so impresive by themselves Sandra but a group of them looks pretty ,they are quite tall !

I had one from Kathy too...but lost it last winter (:-O

Thanks VERY much for the offer Amy, but I filled the space and I'm really keen on growing these Cosmos to dot around. Must keep my expectations under control on the amount I can cope with lol!

Wow they've done great Amy :-), mine haven't got going at all this year they have flowered but are only 2-3ft tall think it was probably the cold spring that did it, oh well better next year.
I lost all mine 3 years ago Tetrarch even with a mulch thank goodness I collected seed :-)

I'm very pleased with them Kathy I have lots of plants scattered through the beds ,I must save some seed if there's a possibility of losing them , I hope not !

Not showing off, but mine have been outstanding this year! Yours will be better in their second summer Amy.

I mulched mine using conifer needles - seemed to protect against crown rot...............

Really , there's plenty of pine needles round here ,I shall be taking a walk with my bucket !!

It allows some air circulation, but provided enough insulation to keep my year one plant happy enough.
