Ha ha, then the mouse is safe! Does your iguana sit out in the garden when it is warm and sunny? I don't know much about them...

Spike my iguana has a summer house outside, dare not let him loose or he will be up that tree. He is a rescue lizard has a deformed tail which messes up his balance. On a wet day like today he is in the indoor hose with his heater set to 32 deg Just posted a picture of Spike

thats lovely to see..
i startled a field mouse one night in winter.. went out to settle my rabbit in his hutch and this little field mouse on top of the hutch was startled by the bright light that was cast on him on me opening the door of the house... he was so sweet his little pink paws and wide open shiney eyes... he hesitated for a moment then streched a little arm out grabed a strand of jasmine which stuck out over the roof of the hutch.. put his little leg out to grab it.. as his other arm pulled the jasmine towards him.. then off he quickly climbed away to safty..
