This one is doing ok as well, though it has been a bit dry. Not too bad for it's second year in the ground.

I still have mine in a large pot but it has rooted through the drainage holes into the ground now.

Madame is stronger than I am, I couldn't get a fork in the clay soil where the pot is Lol! But she has flowered her socks off again this year :o)

Oh well....let her get on with it then eh?! :)) so much for needing to be planted deep! Lol!

I should maybe have knocked the pot bottom out, something I could try in future as it's so hard to dig deep here

I'm really amazed its doing so well. If mine suffer from dry roots they always pack up and go home! Mind you, your clay will be full of feed....which they do love.
