I've planted an Aleta, which is yet to bloom.
This one would make a nice contrast, planted alongside it, next year.

Mouldy - did you mean P.alata? If so it's very tropical. Mine is yet to flower in the greenhouse, although it has a few buds.

I guess you have the right of it, Meanie, as it's produced buds, but, like your's, it's yet to flower.
Oh, well, back to the drawing board! Lol.

Stick with it Mouldy. Bring it in for the winter - it's worth the effort!

My 1st passi, planted in March, turned black, but I kept faith & it pulled through.
No flowers this year, but maybe next.
The Alata was planted after the bad weather, so already has a better chance.
Time will tell, I guess.

I was lucky enough to get a couple of wee cuttings from him through an online contact. If they survive my care I should have something rather special to show off next year!

Off to that great garden in the sky. Lol.
