He /she is beautiful Pam , we have had a cat very similar visiting us on almost a daily basis , he /she makes a fuss of us rolls about for us to stroke it ,sunbathes in our garden and then off it goes until the next day ... :o)

Oh yes , I quite believe that ! our last cat was a rescued one I'm sure they think they are doing you a favour instead of the other way round :o)

He is gorgeous. We kept the rescue centre name of Avenger for our now sadly passed on ginger tom. He showed who was boss the minute we left the centre by tearing a hole in the strong cardboard carrier we got to transport him home. He sat on the rear window sill of the car as if he did it all the time. We got a female, possibly his mother, who looked like the avatar from Amy, at the same time. She was terrified of everything and he was the opposite. When we reached home he was out of the car before me and sat waiting to be let in. Then he raced up and down stairs a few times before exploring the house. Cats definitely do choose you not the other way round.

That story made me laugh Sheila, he sounds like he was a great character! There is something about ginger tom cats I think!! Love the name too.
By the way the Macrocephela is getting huge leaves on it now but so far no flower spike.Does that mean it will probably flower next year?

Another great name for a cat Jane-was he ginger too?

He was a great character and was a big miss when he died.
I'm sorry it has not flowered this year but I would be surprised if it does not flower next year.

I'm sure it will, it looks very healthy and strong!
