The gazania in the block have done very well. They consistently bring these nice sunny faces when the sun is out. However much I love them, I think the blocks need something next year that blooms more consistently, or has a better presence when not blooming. Still these, will always have a place somewhere.

Always a ray of sunshine, in the sunshine. :-) Autumn here they get stressed out and stay open more often. That is my favorite season with them.

These are beautiful and so are the other varieties and colors but here at my house I will only plant them in containers because they do like to travel; You only need to plant one for a yard full the following year!

Oh! They sound a little dangerous for you but if the containers contain them, that is just right. I'm a bit obsessive and comb them for deadheads all the time. It takes heavy maintenance here to get many blooms going at once before the season ends. I've never even seen a seed from them yet.....lol.
