Sign of squirrels

Sign of squirrels

the rose and the Spider were both on the table which can just be sen at the top of the picture: the Spiers were in a small trough on an inverted plant pot to raise them a bit more. The Rose was completely out of its pot, the Spiders were still in their little trough but on their side. They came down so hard taht the Hebes behind the rose were knocked sideways, but still stayed upright. @@##*** tree-rats! If a palnt this size isn't safe, what chance do my babies have?

You'll soon be packing them in to a van Fran! Oops...unintentional rhyming! Was it a fox do you think?

I don't thinks so, Karen - behind our row of gardens is a green, and the other side of that is another row of houses with gardens. The green is very short grass, a fwe shrubs orund the edges, trees here and there. Not much cover for a fox, and not much for it to eat, other than the tree-rats!

and you're right, soon I shall pack all my troubles in an old kit-bag - if I can find a kitbag big enough! They might have foxes in the new place - it's on the edge of town, well, right behind the gardns is open ground next to the river, so at least there's room for a fox there. just so long as there aren't any squirrles! or at least, ones as invasive as this. might even be able to put my bird feeders out at last!

My friend lives just out of town in a village called Yockleton. She is my very dear friend. She runs the Christian bookshop in town. If you ever want to meet a very lovely lady and make a new friend....go see Christine. mention me.....she'll be over the moon! She's very special. :))
