My Plumeria 'Pink Pastel' has only two flower spikes. It usually has many more flower spikes on it during summer. Photo taken Sept. 10, 2013.

It's a very common shrub/tree here in San Diego, CA. There's hundreds of varieties with many different colored flowers.
