This poor hydrangea is always chewed by deer and never bloomed. It is quite pretty blue and I will put some fencing around it (temporarily) and try to grow it into standard, high enough that my bambis will not reach it.

Is it Hydrangea petiolaris, Klahanie? I wonder, if it is blue by nature or do you help it to be blue?

It is blue by nature Katarina, It is the first time I have actually seen the flower. We have probably very acidic soil as we live surrounded by very tall Douglas firs and Western red cedars. This is not the climbing kind.
