Mine did the same this year Shirley, I split it up and re-planted it in the border, it has taken an age to get going, think the dry weather is the reason for it not getting going even though I watered it in well and kept on watering it. It has started to grow now. Try it in a pot and see how it comes along you can always plant it back in the border next year.

Yes I would put it in a pot, good luck hope its ok....

Shirley.... bought these two at the weekend! I usually put mine in the border, but after the comments about Marmalade, might keep it in a pot!!!

Thanks Hb - it's been potted and is living in the unheated GH now ... talk about molly-coddling a plant ... :o)

It's odd Gralew - some GoYers have wonderful 'Marmalade' Heucheras in the ground, others in pots, just depends on soil conditions I guess. Good luck with yours.

I was able to split Marmalade, so for the moment they are both in pots.Might try one in the ground, if it fails I'll still have one to fall back on. :-)
