The better bloomer, here by the front door under the other north eave. As it got bigger, it stopped looking quite as good. A few winds in the later season broke some pieces off, but it had gotten so huge, I wasn't surprised, though still blooming wonderfully.

The high street of our tiny town was decorated with baskets full of lemon and orange begonias this year. They flowered profusely all season...and they're still going strong. These have to be the best all around basket plant in terms of value for money and they will take shade too. Excellent colour and so cheerful. :)

They are the best, thank you. With this dark area they are just the thing, and yellow with pink is always so bright. I might go scarlet next year, with white. I am always surprised I don't see them used more around here.
