It amazes me how similar our weather patterns are as we are experiencing the same. I ran over part of an old gate and bent the blade on my mulch mower...replaced the blade and now I have to buy a new mower because I bent the shaft and the engine won't run, ergo the lawn looks ill kept and messy just when I need to have it trimmed and done for winter. I'm not having a good autumn...poor me!
Have seen some lovely webs but no spiders... lots of silk floating around so there will be plenty of young spiders next season.

That is very unfortunate Lori, just done in a moment and a bill to pay out. Do you believe in that idea that, break 2 items it always goes to 3 and events too, usually not so pleasant. A boy and girl statue got broken in the garden a while back, and 2 other things happened soon after. Hopefully it is just superstitious nonsense. Now boy and girl are back together but still tied up with string.

LOL...yes the old order of threes...I suppose we can be thankful it's just three and not a half dozen! ;-)

We are having 'an Indian summer' presently Lori. 20 degrees C and 17 overnight. The leaves are trickling down but the flowers like it a lot. The grass is still growing due to several bouts of over night rainy weather. The bees are definately quieter too. The orb spiders are putting up their wonderful webs in large quantities to cash in on the sleepy bees too.
