Cercis planted.

Cercis planted. (Cercis canadensis)

This is the area I've been working on, where the weeping pear used to be - my husband planted the Cercis for me this week.

I might have to ask you how to do my friend's garden as this looks like a lovely wild garden that we shall both love when finished.

One of mine favorite trees. Lots of interest in your garden Spritzhenry.

Still looking good B........

It was much wilder before I got busy weeding out the 'Miraclegro' flowers! That was a mistake I won't make again.

It looks a lot better in reality than the photo.

So you would not recommend miraclegro then B?

It did what it said on the container, but the problem was that they don't show you what the little seedlings look like as they pop up and it's hard to weed between them anyway, without trampling them down. So I ended up with weeds growing amongst the pretty flowers. :-(

I won't be repeating the experience.

What else?

See who else is growing Cercis canadensis.

See who else has plants in genus Cercis.

This photo is of "Cercis canadensis 'Forest Pansy'" in Spritzhenry's garden
