Heather in grass

even bigger...impressive.. your welcome... i do like heather like yourself but at one time i had quite a few heathers....

They are such a great plants. Not fussy at all. Drought resistant and very colourful when massed together.
I am starting to appreciate them more and more. Deer will not touch them.

yes i had that appreciation grow too.. :-))) i might theme my back garden a bit and use heather in that theme...
its good deer leave them...i hope rabbits will too..

We have few wild bunnies hopping around Jane and they do not eat mine.
Seems like you are taking your gardening more seriously. It is very rewarding to see these plants grow and prosper. They also make an excellent photo subjects as you know. I make pictures of a same plant every month of a year and it looks interesting each time in different way and lovely to see the older pictures as they grow.....sort of like kids :-)

good they don't eat it iam pleased...

i was given(well getting next Friday) a pussy-willow...which made my heart leap with joy.... but i will have to watch the rabbits... not sure which kind yet(pussy-willow)....looking forward to having that....

the neighbour has removed a huge conifer so it has come in timely for allowing just that little bit of needed light...

i now will be adding heather!!!
