Thanks Marybells. When I was working at the shop in Canterbury we were asked to make a life sized armchair...
Thankfully we had the help of a upholstery shop in our street. They were able to make up the wooden frame for us in the correct shape. We then covered it in oasis, moss and chicken wire. For the seat and back cushion we used large red and white roses. The rest of the chair was made up using flat faced burgandy coloured chrysanthemums. This made it look like a leather armchair with tapestry type cushions!
The chair itself was huge, and was extremely difficult to get through the door! :D From memory I think it was delivered in a van!

Canterbury is a very nice place one might call up market and in a way it is but that does not stop anyone from admiring its beauty, does it?
that is sad for you that you do not have any photography's as i bet it looked wonderful and a lot of work went into to.

i would give anything to have sat in that chair... wonderful display.
