Buddleja Globosa (Orange Ball Tree)

Thank you Thujathough. Sadly my Globosa has been badly damaged in the gales. I'm not sure if I can save it even if I cut it back hard :o( Might try some cuttings when I can get out there...

think i might fill the top of my garden with Buddleja and go for many different kinds, this one is a must.

I'm sure you'll love this Jane! The colour is fab-u-lous! But I love orange... I may have managed to save this after the gales. OH managed to stake it and fill in around the roots.
I've got several Buddleja Jane, my favourite of them all is Black Knight. It's a dark purple and each of the tiny individual flowers that make up the whole flower, have a tiny orange eye! I love the perfume of this one it reminds me of beer/hops!
I can't remember if I've put a piccie of Black Knight on here... If I haven't I'll see if I've got one!

okie dokie i think if i get a few different ones that will work well in my garden.
i already have about 9 Buddleja plants because the rabbits leave them alone it might be a easy option for me this year until i get back into the swing of gardening.

We have Buddleia globosa & 'Black Knight'. Both attract butterflies & bees & make the garden 'alive' as well as being nice to look at.
