Daylily 'Solid Geometry'

I couldn't get any pods to set on this one & it wasn't from a lack of trying. My plan for next year it to see if I can get the patterns & doubles to produce something nice together.

I never tried this one Wylie, mind you as you know not many of my crosses set seed this year.
Just been checking all this years seedlings from your seed and one that stands out, in that the plants are huge, is Joy of Life seedling x (Lighter than Air x Catcher in the Eye) now that could make a nice patterned double couldn't it ?

You figured out what I was trying for :) The Joy of Life sdlg is very, very fertile. They are both dormant for me, although they have the genes to be evergreen.

Remember they were the first to germinate to Wylie, the seedlings from that cross all look evergreen here but they are in the greenhouse this winter, we'll know for sure next year when they're planted out, it would be great if you got an applique throat on a double!!!!!!, of course if there are any good ones I'll send you a piece back ;-)

I have several bags of seeds that involve the Joy of Life sdlgs, like JofL x Life Is A Highway; JofL x (AmberRhum x Kazoo); and JofL x Womanizer.
Growing right now are JofL x Mildred Mitchell; Raspberry Rogue x JofL; and JofL x John Benoot. Also Blue Eyed Bandit x Spacecoast Sea Shells.
We'll have to see about getting you pieces of these (heh, heh).

Oh WOW they could be really amazing Wylie!!!! can't wait till next year to see them bloom ;-)
