slow grower , nearly lost it the 1st year but has come on well now

I moved it into a 8 inch pot after it nearly died , I placed it against the acer leaves for the photo lol

Must be one thats on the soft side then Gnarly I have a couple that I have to remember to mulch 'Peacock Maiden' and 'Navajo Princess' nearly lost both in the cold winters they've recovered now though thank goodness.
Hope this one goes well its a beauty, I'm a watcher ;-)

I'm surprised that this would be soft - it was made by Gary Schaben who lives in Minnesota - just south of Canada. It should be really tough to survive there. But it is a nice one :)
