So you have moles to Marie?, we used to get them really bad at our old house they loved the really sandy soil,easy to burrow in I suppose, thank goodness we don't seem to have them here, yet!!!, the heavy clay soil here would give them a headache lol.

Simbad, I do have heavy clay soil here. I guess you are just lucky. I've studied them on internet and it was like every website states that moles DO NOT EAT PLANTS, only grubs...well they are lying...I've lost several plants by moles, the roots been eaten like crazy. Nothing seems to help. The mole "poison" is on our groceries list, it looks like this= Monday - buy bread, milk, mole poison, Friday- buy bread, milk, mole poison...

Moles in South Africa !! I will have to google we are used to the really cute velvet coats here , I do get voles which cause a lot of problems in the borders , , fab colour
