Kalanchoe thyrsiflora in the pot

Kalanchoe thyrsiflora in the pot (Kalanchoe thyrsiflora)

The owner of this house has lots of plants growing (and dying in the pots)This succulent plant is producing a stalk about 1m tall, dying back after flowering. This one is blooming but the blooms are not insignificant.
There are several of these plants around the property.
The plant on the right is off-spring of Agave attenuate.
Also known under names as Flapjacks, Desert Cabbage and some more I do not remember.

I think this is a lovely combination of colour even if the big plant is dying back. The rosy plant at the front looks good next to the paler Agave.

Hello Tommymoo,
This agave has the most interesting bloom. I posted picture of it here:

then the mother plant die but not before it produces many off-springs....and life continues :-)

You are welcome. I noticed that you have couple of very nice agaves as well.
