And a gaggle of geese squawked up a storm on the Hudson River, preparing to leave town.
The guy on the right wanted to take the scenic route, but the guy on the left felt they should hug the coast and the guy in the middle wanted to follow the Appalachian Trail. Nobody could decide which way to go! ;)

We have seen lots flying in skeins lately , coming in over the Ocean from the North East .
Plenty here in Norfolk and Suffolk ( I daren't say too many .)

They are rather tame birds. I had a couple come up to me and eat from my hand. Sometimes they even stop traffic if they are crossing the road. They are protected by law.

Lovely close up of the Geese.
They come here too, land on Shoebrury East Beach, Thorpbay, Southend-on-Sea, Westcliff-on-Sea, Chalkwell-on-Sea, Leigh-on-Sea & Old Leigh, which is all the length of our Sea Front. Shame I can't add a pic in this mail but will add one on my pictures. :o))
