Andy, I've now got three large mature Delonix in bloom this year. It means there's quite a bit of red splashed around my place at the moment. Love it!

Fascinating. Where do these trese grow in Australia? At the coast or in midlands?

Katarina, this tree grows primarily in the tropical and sub-tropical areas in the north of Australia. It flourishes on the coastline, but I have seen it growing in the drier inland areas as well.
