Guess who went shopping at the nursery!? It is me and the difficult identification process again. I must rely on the internet to get the names and I hope I am correct on this one. It is tall with huge blooms. Diploid. Hybridized by WILD in 1972.

I thought I had this too Daglelie but think I got a wrong plant mines just not dark enough I don't think, still undecided as one picture on Tinkers does look like mine.

Simbad, it is very tough to identify yellow self or red self daylilies on the internet, hey?!

I have a couple of seedlings with this, and the dark, rich red was passed on - a great addition!
