SQUIRREL BEATER

SQUIRREL BEATER

Am I correct Wylie? My husband bought it and did not even know that it was on my wishing list! I love it! Is it diploid or tetraploid, Wylie?

Oh good for you, Simbad! I'm sure if we use it in hybridizing there will be nice surprises!

It is a TET, evergreen, and a heavy bloomer! This past summer it was it continuous bloom. I have several bags of seed using this, crossing it with Frankenflower, my Angel Fairy Tern x Judge Nancy sdlg, and Spacecoast Sea Shells.

It is by Dan Hansen, but he has removed it from his catalog along with the personal comments of how it got its name.
