The first of its blooms and it fell off while I was pulling some weed!

My Joan Senior hasn't ever bloomed. :(

Yes, JOAN SENIOR has passed on the ribbed sepals to almost all of her offspring. I don't have to look at a tag - I can tell if it is a JOAN SENIOR seedling from afar. Most of them are diamond dusted as well. I wonder why yours are not blooming, Bernieh? Is it planted in full sun?

Yes it's in full sun for most of the day, Daglelie. In the harsh summertime it does get a little shade from a Duranta during the middle of the day, but not a lot.
