This was grown from a small cutting about 5 years ago. 2 years ago it produced one flower spike, last year none at all. So I was surprised and delighted to discover 13 spikes this winter! It's in a sunny south-facing window, so warm during the day, but with the temperature at minus 12 C and below this week, it seems to thrive on cooler nights. It grows in almost no soil, and next year when it has stopped blooming I will take some cuttings to pot separately. It needs to be shared!
