Thanks MB :)
These are on a wildflower bank .....well to be honest all my garden is wild ha ha!! A case of organised chaos springs to mind :) Mind you i can claim to have planned the colour matching of the ladys mantle i like the way the lime green and sulfur yellow blend and the Hazel tree which im hoping to grow into an arch i think has such pretty colour leaves too with that hint of pink running through them a bit lower down under the Hazel is a pinky coloured sedum so its all contrived of course :)

MB and TT - Thanks for your kind comments :)
No i have'nt designed "natural area" before but here in the hills we have our own climatic challenges :) Mostly rain followed by heavy downpours.... and then as the saying goes
"It does'nt always rain in Wales .....sometimes it snows"
:0) ha ha!!
So i felt that with wanting to create a garden that didnt JAR with the spectacular beauty that im very blessed to be surrounded with and that could cope with these conditions and flourish. And my MAIN criteria of producing nectar for my belovedā„ "garden visitors" it seemed the obvious to look at the area around me and see what was naturally thriving here and bring those plants or in my case allow many of those plants the freedom to flourish in my garden not to fight them- the added bonus being that the indigenious species rarely if ever get pest problems they are some of the most BEAUOOOtiful plants...and i get that all at a fraction of the price of cultivated plants :)
Happy Bees n Butterflys - equals happy me :) x
