Had to clean off the greenhouse roof a couple of times...the snow load was so great that some of the plastic panels were starting to buckle. I think wind is worse than snow, Amy...we all have our own point of view, right? I'm thankful we are not in open country when the northerlies sweep in... most forceful winds we've had were about 70kms. per hour...and it took down trees which in their turn took down hydro wires...power outages can be serious in very cold weather...but luckily (and I'm touching wood) so far we have had few outages and the ones we've had were of relatively short duration. Have been watching your news casts and thinking of all my U.K. Goy friends who are threatened by the rising water. Roll on spring!
