We pruned it last year, as it seemed to be getting too leggy....rather difficult to photograph, because you can see the Phormium, is enormous, will have to deal with that later on methinks!! hope you can see it..

Shirley you are welcome, 3pbit, I wont be taking the Phormium out, just pruning it a little, this part of the garden is NZ and Australian plants......

Shirley the Gold Splash (look to the right of the picture, down the side?) is a pretty one, we have that also, but being as it was new last year, it was covered in fleece this time.....must have a look and check it....
