I've had this grape hyacinth for many years, and never made a note of its name when I planted it. But give how it tries to take over, I suspect it's muscari armeniacum

I dislike Muscari Andrew ... can't reason why though ... always have! Pulled out lots at my Mums garden this morning ... little thugs!

They are a bit aren't they Shirley, but I do like to pick the flowers on as long a stem as poss and put them in a little jug.
