I'm surprised the birds haven't gotten all the fruits, these crab apples look like they haven't been touched

A lot of the snow had melted but there was still 2-3 feet of snow on the ground. In the areas where it isn't packed down it comes up to my knees. I'm glad this winter is almost over, not only because of the snow but it has also been the coldest I can remember.

Yes we had that a few years ago the cold killed a lot of our palm trees over here, makes me wonder what is going on and I don't mean climate change either.
