It is ia sunny day, so Bear is soaking up the sun while his mother, Little Guy, walks by. In the back is one of my plastic boxes of new daylily seedlings that have been started this year. They will be planted out at the end of March.

You may notice that the are ropes that I have strung through holes I put in the boxes at both ends. That way I can put the lids on and tie them down for protection from the wind and cats. There are also holes at the bottom in case it rains and I don't want to run out and put the lids on.

The highs have been a little lower than normal, but the lows have been higher. I even have a couple of scapes on seedlings I started last year.

Nice to have some guards for the daylily seedlings you never know when you'll get a raid lol ;-)
Good idea with the plastic box why didn't I think of that!!!!, no room in the greenhouse with all last years seedlings still in there and mine need pricking out now!!!, I have bought loads of plastic cups though, I've got loads of those lidded boxes too.
