Always the first to flower in my garden

Is this a compact form? I like the shape of the flowers.

Seaburngirl
It is compact the small part in the picture gives little idea of the spread which is about 4ft across x 3ft high in about 35 years so pretty slow,
it grows in a 18in container close to the house for warmth as it is wrecked some years by frost.
Will add a picture when it is full out or you can delve back I probable posted a pick around this time last year.
