Daylily - 'Squirrel Beater'

Oh Yippeee, Wylie is back in action! My favourite daylily as well!

I planted this out just the other day Wylie ;-), beautiful.........roll on summer :-)

It is still very, very early in the season. I had a poly the other day, but it didn't open very well. I almost had a tragedy with my new ones. Barney, one of my cats, remembers how I had catnip in the cold greenhouse. So when he saw plants in there, he started eating them. Fortunately they are growing back and he knows it isn't catnip.

He he he! Naughty cat!

I want to grow catnip for him, but he goes completely insane trying to get it. He jumps into hanging baskets, and last year broke into a plastic box that had some plants inside.

Lol isn't it strange how some cats go mad for it but others aren't bothered, Symba no reaction at all whereas our daughters cat goes mad too, jumping in baskets that made me laugh lol.
We have a huge black long haired cat visit he loves the catmint when its coming through and can often be seen rolling in the flowerbed lol.

I like to get a fresh leaf and tie it on a string attached to a stick. Barney goes crazy trying to catch it.

That'll tire him out lol.
