I have one exactly in the same stage Pam and wondering if it will ever open. I think this one we have here in Mexico will be yellow. At home on the Island I have several purple ones. These orchids(cymbidiums) really want us to know their presence. Always so prominent in the spot I put them.
Looking forward to see yours in a full bloom.
