Carrion Crows

The silver birches make a good picture against the clear blue sky with the added interest of the crows ... very nice

Thanks folks, I love those trees and the crows, they make me feel I am in the country side.

I've been watching this morning while gardening and the birds are so busy aren't they collecting nesting material, one I wasn't too happy about was the magpie hadn't noticed they've started to build a nest in our horse chestnut until one flew across the garden with a huge stick in its beak, not good news for my little song birds :-(

I expect the little ones have their ways of coping, the sparrows in our back garden sing their hearts out dawn and dusk, they even drown out the niose of a nearby main road, I love sparrows.
