Almond Tree near my house

I had an Almond tree in my last garden it produced loads of nuts but they were almost impossible to crack the shells were so hard ...

I should get an almond tree for the woodland edge. do you know if they are hardy?

This is just down the road from me , but the nuts are very hard , Amy you're right .
Well Dawn , it is a fairly mature tree , so it must be hardy . The blossom is lovely , this isn't a good picture .

They are very hardy Dawn if you see one it's worth having even if you do need a sledge hammer to open the nuts ,that a job for John Lol ...

Haha Amy. I'll look out for one. Like the walnut tree, I dont think we'll get any nuts in our lifetime lol x
