Back garden view

Taken last summer. The only problem I have is the neighbour's windows overlooking my garden. I'm not sure what I can do or plant to create more privacy. As a temporary measure I might put a huge bamboo in a pot on the corner of my patio. This will create a bit of privacy when on the patio but it won't block their view (which I would prefer). Does anyone have any ideas please?

Nice garden but can see why you are asking that question, its not good if you are uncomfortable about being overlooked, especially as closely as that....I moved a huge Pampas Grass from one side of my garden to the other just to block out one window, in the summertime when the grass is cut back my apple tree hides us.........

Thank you Terratoonie - the garden was a blank canvas just with grass so I'm trying to add to it a bit at a time. Lincslass lucky you to have found a solution. I thought about pleached trees but my hubbie said it would look like a prison perimeter!

Maybe plant something evergreen on that end trellis, such as ceanothus ... Choose carefully ... one which you can trim to shape. letting the top part grow high.

Terra. Thank you this may well be a good option.
